Part of Creative Alliance’s Nisa’a series, which celebrate powerful female artists from Muslim cultural backgrounds, the unexpected collaboration at the core of Sandaraa finds Pakistani superstar vocalist Zeb Bangash fronting a band of New York’s finest Klezmer musicians for something ecstatic and awesome.

This event will feature a conversation between Zeb, Sufi scholar Homayra Ziad, and B;nai Israel's own Rabbi Etan Mintz, followed by a performance inside the sukkah with Sandaraa

This program is generously supported by the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Fund of the Associated.
