We look forward to welcoming you to the B’nai Israel Sukkah.
Please use responsibly, according to the following Community  Guidelines, which have been drafted by our Covid Committee for everyone’s safety during the pandemic.

  1. The event organizer ("the Host") reserves the Sukkah through the link below. This is how we know to have someone available to let you and your party in.

  2. Gatherings in the Sukkah are limited to 15 people.

  3. To prevent spread of COVID, please mask up when you’re not eating: required for unvaccinated attendees, politely requested of everyone else. Safety guidelines remain at a social distance of 3'.

  4. All food must be kosher. If you have questions about food or its preparation, please contact Rabbi Mintz at 410.732.5454.

  5. The Shul kitchen may not be used, in respect of our kashrut requirements.

  6. The Host will:

  • Keep a list of all attendees (in the event future contact tracing is necessary).

  • Remind the reluctant or forgetful in your party of our safety protocols --masking, social distance and sanitization.

  • Ensure a supply of all paper goods, food, and drinks. The synagogue supplies, building and kitchen will not be available.

  • Sanitize tables, chairs and other surfaces before and after use. Some cleaning and sanitizing supplies will be left out in the Sukkah for your use.

  • Be considerate of those who follow you.  Collect your trash and leave the Sukkah in a clean and orderly condition (hopefully, the way you found it). A large trash receptacle will be available in the Sukkah for your use.

Abridged Version of the Above:

  • Have a good time.
  • Stay safe, respectful and kosher.
  • Clean up.

Easy Peasy!  Chag Sameach!
