If you are looking for a unique space for your event, you've found it!  We host weddings, bar- and bat-mitzvas, brit milahs, baby namings, speaking engagements, social events, and more.

The B'nai Israel Congregation building is a historic facility with a uniquely beautiful sanctuary and many charming features. See here for more details about our historic building. The main sanctuary on the 2nd floor can accommodate 225+ people with an additional 125+ people in the 3rd floor balcony. The kiddush room/social hall can accommodate 200 people standing or 150 people seated depending on your specific needs.

The B'nai Israel kashrut policy requires that only certified food from a kosher caterer or packaged goods with certification can be used in the synagogue. Nothing can be prepared or cooked at home.

Pricing:

Small Events: (Less than 45 people)

 

Brit milahs, baby namings and other small social events. This price includes main sanctuary and kiddush room/social hall. 

  • $395 for members
  • $1,175 for associate members and non-members
  • $250 Security Deposit

 

Large Events: (45+ people)

Weddings, bar/bat-mitzvahs, Aufruf weekends and other large social events.  This price includes main sanctuary and kiddush room/social hall.  For Aufruf weekends, this includes use of the space for Shabbat dinner, kiddush and/or sit down luncheon and throughout the weekend. Brit milahs and baby namings with more than 50 people are also considered a large event.

 

  • $1,175 for members
  • $2,175 for associate members and non-members
  • $250 Security Deposit
